Four of NBA’s brightest young stars are battling it out to see who can get their hands on the Larry O’Brien trophy for the first time in their budding careers. The Conference finals are underway with New York Knicks; spear headed by Jalen Brunson by and Indiana Pacers Spear headed by Tyrese Haliburton battling for kings of the east while Minnesota Timberwolves with Anthony Edwards as the golden boy and the OKC Thunder with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as their MVP battle it out in the Western Conference finals. Although their names ring bells their teams have been seen as underdogs on the playoff stage but like50 Cent would say “hate it or love it the underdogs are on top.”

When the playoffs started the memes were all about Lakers in 5 and ironically the Lakers lost when the Minnesota underdogs proved to be wolves and beat the Lakers in 5. Joker and the Nuggets also looked promising and fought valiantly but after going blow for blow with OKC they eventually fell to the Thunder in game 7. On the East the Cavs and Celtics were looked at as favorites as Cavs was the number 1 seed in the east and Celtics were the defending champs. With that being said Mitchell and Cavs fell to the Indiana Pacers. This however wasn’t the talk of the east, everyone was on Knicks watch as we know they have the loudest fan base. The defending champs fell to New York and the Knicks in six chant proved to be true. The streets of New York were lit up in blue and orange as they haven’t made the conference finals in 25 years.
